What to expect from the LEGO Group at Gamescom 2026

Get ready for tomorrow night…

Gamescom 2026 starts soon, with the LEGO Group confirmed to be in attendance, and here’s what to expect from this year’s event in terms of LEGO news.

Gamescom is due to take place from August 26 to 30 this year, and we already know that the LEGO Group will be involved in the event in multiple ways.

To get you ready for this year’s video game and pop culture event, here’s what you can expect from the LEGO Group, from what is confirmed to what else is possible.

A real LEGO Fortnite Rave Cave at the booth

The LEGO booth at Gamescom 2026 has already been confirmed, and we now know that there will be a recreation of 77082 The Rave Cave in a LEGO Fortnite-specific section of the booth. Attendees can find the LEGO booth in Hall 9 in spots A-029, A-030, A-040, and B-029.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s DLC

Another confirmed LEGO announcement for Gamescom 2026 is a closer look at the Mayhem Collection DLC. IGN has confirmed that a trailer for the Mayhem Collection will be aired exclusively during its Gamescom Studio livestream on August 26, close to 6am PT / 9am ET / 3pm CEST / 2pm BST.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see some kind of first look or teaser at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25 at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST.

LEGO Skylines?

There may be another reason to tune into Opening Night Live tomorrow. The LEGO Skylines game, supposedly coming from Paradox Interactive and rated in South Korea earlier this year, is one possible announcement during Gamescom.

Both the LEGO Group and Paradox Interactive will be attending Gamescom, and we’ve seen unusual LEGO game reveals such as LEGO Horizon Adventures at other Geoff Keighley gaming events. This is only speculation, and absolutely nothing on LEGO Skylines has been confirmed since the rating was taken down in May.

A LEGO set reveal?

Whether we will see any new LEGO sets revealed at Gamescom 2026 is also unconfirmed. We don’t often see new models unveiled during the event, but it can happen. Gamescom 2024, for instance, saw the unveiling of the LEGO Mario Kart models months before their 2025 release.

Expect the focus to be on LEGO games during the event, with the star of the show likely being LEGO Batman’s Mayhem Collection. Gamescom will take place August 26 to 30, with Opening Night Live tomorrow.
