Frankie Muniz Celebrated First Career Win In Motorsports This Week

Years ago Frankie Muniz was one of the biggest child actors in the world. But in recent years he’s been trying and often struggling to enjoy a second career in motorsports.

Well, this week he finally got that long awaited first win behind the wheel of a racecar.

Muniz competed in the Am class of the GT4 America Series. He drove a Ford Mustang GT4 S650 for TechSport Racing with Tyler Stone as his teammate.

On Friday at Road America in Wisconsin, Muniz finally got his long-awaited win.

Following Friday’s win, Muniz called Road America his favorite track and said he was “beyond thrilled” to get the win.

“You only get one life, and that’s one thing I’ve always lived by,” Muniz said. “There’s a lot of things I’ve wanted to accomplish and I’ve just tried to dive in, sometimes off the deep end. To be here, Road America, my favorite racetrack ever, and get a win with Tyler, with Ford in the Mustang GT4 car, I’m so beyond thrilled. I love this so much.”

But the success didn’t stop on Friday.

On Saturday, Muniz and Stone swept the Am class with another win where Muniz needed to navigate his way through wet conditions and navigate his way through a clash of opposing drivers to get out in front and claim the victory.

“The whole time after the checkered flag came out, I was literally crying in my helmet,” Muniz said. “I made the sacrifice to my family to go racing and to be an inspiration for my son. I’m so grateful to Ford Racing, TechSport Racing and my entire team. This is awesome. There’s no feeling like this on the planet.”

Fans were proud of Muniz finally getting to live his dream and get his long-sought win.

“Hell yeah, Road America is one of the best tracks to drive!” one user wrote on X in response to Muniz’s post.
