Andy Reid responds to a past mustache joke from a Hall of Famer

This week, Chiefs Wire’s Ed Easton Jr. spoke with Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

“Yeah, well, they would joke about that (his mustache) back when it wasn’t white, and it was a different color. First of all, Tom Selleck’s a pretty good-looking dude. I’m not competing with him there. He’s a true actor and a good basketball player, too. I’m not sure people know that, but yeah, listen, the mustache-they gave me the business, so I had to stick up for myself,” said Reid. “Nobody could give you the business like LeRoy (Butler) could give you the business. That guy, I’m gonna tell you, he could riddle, he could needle you a little bit. But what a great guy, Hall of Famer. How great is that? he was from a safety position; he got to be something special, and he was.”
