Madden 27 Ratings Update Reveals Biggest Movers and Fallers

The NFL season is starting to take shape, and EA Sports is once again adjusting Madden 27 player ratings based on what players are doing on the field.

The latest ratings update features plenty of movement, including changes for some of Madden’s highest-rated players. Fred Warner is closing in on the 99 Club, T.J. Watt received one of the biggest upgrades, and several quarterbacks are moving up. On the other end, Drake Maye was handed the biggest downgrade among the players highlighted.

Here’s a look at the biggest movers and fallers in the latest Madden 27 ratings update.

Madden 27’s Biggest Ratings Risers

T.J. Watt headlines the upgrades, receiving a three-point increase from 93 to 96 overall.

Justin Jefferson also made a significant jump, climbing two points from 94 to 96 overall, while Fred Warner improved one point to 98 overall, putting him just one point away from the 99 Club.

Several players received two-point boosts, including Trevor Lawrence, Dre Greenlaw, Jordan Love, Patrick Ricard and Terrel Bernard.

• Lamar Jackson: 94 → 95 (+1)

Drake Maye Headlines Madden 27 Ratings Fallers

Drake Maye received the biggest downgrade among the players shown in the update, falling three points from 92 to 89 overall.

Maye’s changes go beyond his overall rating. His awareness also dropped 10 points to 83, making it one of the most noticeable individual attribute adjustments in the update.

The other confirmed fallers include:

• James Cook III: 94 → 93 (-1)

• DeForest Buckner: 93 → 92 (-1)

• Quinnen Williams: 92 → 91 (-1)

• Josh Jacobs: 91 → 90 (-1)

• Jaylon Johnson: 90 → 89 (-1)

• Justin Herbert: 90 → 89 (-1)

There are considerably more risers than fallers among the players highlighted in this ratings update, with Watt’s three-point rise matching Maye’s three-point drop as the largest overall changes.

With plenty of football still ahead, Madden 27 ratings are far from locked in. Players can expect EA Sports to continue making adjustments throughout the NFL season as performances on the field create new movers and fallers.
